Kirk,

During periods Brinker's portfolios are 100% invested, most who have followed Brinker for a long time realize that Brinker's advice to buy on dips below S&P500 = 1250 know that such advice applies to NEW MONEY AVAILABLE FOR INVESTMENT, not the in and out kind of trading your post seems to suggest.

It should be obvious to experienced investors that investment returns are deminished by increased income tax costs and sometimes increased commission costs by excessive short term trading.

Yes, I'm familiar with Ground Zero. He is very good at short term trading. I have more of a long-term "buy-and-hold" style, so I can't apply much of his work to my investments.

I do have a great respect for GZ's short-term trading ability, though.
