Re: "if these home grown traitors win the White House, then all of us will have to study the koran 4 hours a day and we will all have to learn arabic so we can talk to each other in public, English will be forbidden... perish the thought, but a great big mosque will be built on the site of the WTC... science fiction? I don't think so..."

Neither do I.

(There is no 'science' involved in that particular rant at all.)

Sounds like straight POLITICAL fiction to me... (and quite a bit of fear-mongering, too....)

I'd sooner worry about extinction of life on Earth as a result of meteor strike... at least their is a mathematically quantifiable risk of that possibility occurring.

That might be why I have a Garand and a case of ammo on hand.

It seems that your concerns reflect broadly a feeling that our nation is in danger....but why are you so confident in the efforts of the Administration to protect us? I don't feel that way at all. Container traffic is not screened because it would be too expensive (?). Border Security (beyond lip service and walls to nowhere) is weak. The list goes on and on....Homeland Security as a Cabinet level department seems ineffective and unfocused.

Why your sense that the Democrats would somehow do so much worse than the existing record of the republican administration? Not to mention their friendship with some folks in the Middle East that we should be perhaps more careful about??
