DIA now has 3 runways (out of 8) open and are sending folks out as fast as they can turn aircraft around. I heard on the radio this morning it could take all week to empty the place. I have friends at church whose family lives in Mexico. They've been stuck in LA for 3 days and were told yesterday they can't get them to Denver before Tuesday. They are considering getting on the next flight back to Mexico and forgetting Denver altogether.

I was out again this morning and the streets are still a mess. Cars totally buried along the sides by the snowplows. Packed snow in the streets that's hard as granite. Lanes suddenly narrowing from 2 to 1 without warning. Grocery stores with totally empty shelves in many cases. Little or NO produce or fresh meat. All that should get resolved by the end of today, they say. We'll see....
