I would applaud the appropriate distribution of wealth within the local populace. I have heard however that Venezuelean social programs under Chavez have not been what you would expect given the projected oil revenues so I wonder whether this is truly a situation where the have nots are now getting more of the entitlements or just one more guy who is going to end up running to some unextraditable area and living off his numbered account.
