No, Elroy. YOU'RE confusing a military win with VICTORY. As did the chimp Caesar when he strutted on the carrier in his codpiece. You think like a teenage bully - just like Bush.

"completely messing up" another country ISN'T victory. Victory is when the people of another country support and agree with your aims because they see them as in their best interests, TRUST your motives and SUPPORT your methods. Most often, this is acheived without any military involvement whatsoever.

You're nuts. The whole world still considers the US military the scariest fighting force on the planet. Just because Iraq hasn't turned into the ME's bastion of secular democracy doesn't mean any country thinks they can handle the US military coming onto its turf.

Do you consider Iran's reaction to the US evidence of that fear? It seems to me that the behavior of Iran's president towards the US is arrogant, impertinent and uncooperative; all qualities that reflect a lack of fear.
