I also like to read fantasy genre.. Some very good writers but my problem is the numbers of books that are turned out in a given series so I end up skipping most of them since don't really have time or can't find all the books in a given series etc.. Even Stephen King with his Dark Tower has a 7 book series .. very complex and involved but I read only the first 3 since he was taking too much time cranking them out.. lol..

Any case, I would like to recommend Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay.. it is a rare 1 book story that is both complex and complete..

Speaking of King, I have read some of his books .. now and again.. But it has to be something different for me to to pick one up and stay with it.. Two of his books I remember and would recommend.. One was actually written for his daughter, titled Eyes of the Dragon and another one that I liked was Bag of Bones .

He caught me by surprise with the ending, I'm devastated.
