What percentage of 'player's' had long term expectations when they made their silly speculative 'investments' during the mania? I doubt we hear about big profits made flipping preconstruction condos again in our lifetimes.. The big problem on the buy side now in most bubble markets is property bought at retail these days makes no sense to own either short or long term as an investment.
