Seeker,
Two weeks ago we went to a Florida gun show and I was amazed at the size and quality of the crowd. This was a smallish city (Ft. Myers) and honestly I have never seen such a crowd there for anything. The county civic center is a very large facility with a very large parking lot and it was jammed full all day Saturday and Sunday.

I am an old geezer, but with young children (and a pregnant wife, I just discovered yesterday) and both kids are in martial arts class so we are interested in anything to do with self defense. We went both days, bringing along a different group of the kids friends.

What a fine looking bunch of folks you had at the show, not the same riff-raff you see at say a Vegas casino or a major league ball game. The crowd was really a collection of our best and brightest. The older folks appeared to be mostly professionals but you had working folks too. On Sunday you had lots of folks who had just come from church.

And what is most encouraging was the large number of young folks there, dating couples and young parents teaching their kids about guns. And a very nice looking young crowd too, none of the gang or goth types you see in the malls. All very encouraging, by these methods we may save our country after all.

BTW, the "gun show loohole" is working wonderfully.
