i still have a few shares of NEW, but i'm not sure about the subprime lenders at this point

cramer said the other day that they will be fine, that's probably the kiss of death <g>

i think AHM is a much better idea at this point, as you get a solid and growing dividend, better earnings estimates, and a company that sticks to prime loans instead of subprime, plus they buy credit insurance and have very conservative loan reserves, so there is far less likely to be a nasty surprise than with a company like NEW or IMH
