I put out a tub of water, a block of salt, and 10lbs of corn each night for the deer. As the night goes on, we will see anywhere from 1 to 8 deer at the food. I put it out right before dark. We don't have a lot of crows around here, but in the daytime We'll see a flock of doves and an occasional turkey pecking at what's left.

I suppose if I had "acreage" I might be inclined to do the same thing for the wildlife. But, I have "inches" not "acres" in my back yard. We're overrun with squirrels, as it is. And far too many noisy black crows. What a nuisance that bird is.
