It seems to me, all you have to do to defeat the US military is ask it to do a mission it's not built for, as we did in Vietnam, and as we're doing in Iraq. So, it's NOT invincible Elroy. The chimp Nero is busy proving that right NOW..

Now, his Poppy put on a good show in '91. That must be where all your "wet behind the ears", too young to know any better perceptions come from.

Whether the US military is invicible and whether the US military is able to bring stability to bring security to a population that doesn't want security enough to fight for it themselves are different subjects."

No they aren't. THAT'S the job they've been tasked with. They're failing at it.

Lets keep it simple. Superman is close to invincible, right? If George Bush asks Superman to help repair a miscellaneous broken marriage, and Superman fails to stop the couple from fighting and they get divorced, do you therefore conclude that Superman is not invincible? I hope not, because he is still pretty invincible (as long as you don't throw Kryptonite his way).

Do you have extensive collection of Superman comic books? If so, Bush is looking for ones to help fill up his new presidential library. You might get the Purple Heart or a Medal of Honor!
