Give me the name and the philosophy of one person that teaches killing people is good.

Osama Bin Ladin, Takfirst (Jihadist) sect of Islam.. And Bin Ladin's inspiration, via Ayman Zawahiri, was Sayyid Qutb.

en.wikipedia.org

Everyday his followers display their belief that committing suicide to kill "infidels" is good, if not glorious, and completely authorized by Allah. All western "corruption" must be physically (violently) eliminated in an all-out Jihad and that the Islamic "umma" (body of people) must be "re-conquered" in the name of Islam:

The main tenet of Qutbist ideology is that the Muslim community (or the Muslim community outside of a vanguard fighting to reestablish it) "has been extinct for a few centuries" [1] having reverted to Godless ignorance (Jahiliyya), and must be re-conquered for Islam.

and one of it's primary tenets:

a two-pronged attack of 1) preaching to convert and 2) jihad to forcibly eliminate the "structures" of Jahiliyya (godless ignorance).

1 We can change thier attitude. It is clear that they have nothing to offer their own people. All we have to do is not muddie the waters. Stay out of their way.

Mary, once again you display your utter ignorance of reality.

Don't you recall that Mao once stated that "Political power comes from the barrel of a gun"? When will you get it through your head that Al Qai'da, and the other Takfirist and Jihadist groups (including Sunni and Shi'a) don't subscribe to your belief that violence won't succeed in winning them political and philosophical influence?

When will you get it through your head that the entire Jihadist movement, aligning under the umbrella of Al Qai'da, has DECLARED WAR ON THE US, AND THE WEST??

2 They have no resources to confront us. They have no bank accounts. They have no government. They have no military that can confront us.

Do I fear a conventional defeat by a display of military power? NO. Do I fear their gaining control of the energy resources of the Persian Gulf and then waging economic war against the West (and undeveloped countries)?? ABSOLUTELY!!

Permit them to control those oil resources and they will cut off the oil flow to the West (or jack up prices to $100-200/barrel), while using their newly won clout to offer discounts to those countries which are totally dependent upon PG energy in order to win their political support via economic extortion.

And they have the bank accounts. The same ones that Saudi Arabia and other major oil producers use. And you and I both know that the West will be provoked to having to invade and occupy all of these nations (and fighting insurgencies in the process) in order to deny the Jihadists access to these resources and wealth.

Jesus Christ, no matter what you may think, taught us the concept of love. That has stood the test of time. That is not going away.

While I agree with you, does that explain why the Crusades were fought (to free the "holy land" from both Muslims and Jewish control)? Does that explain away how so many fanatical rulers have twisted the teaching of Jesus to carry out brutal wars of genocide against non-christians throughout our history??

As I've stated, religions are creations of MANKIND, not god. And if you understand your belief in Jesus, the entire concept of Armageddon is that Jesus will return with his army of angels to prevent mankind from waging wars of annihilation against one another, including those being pepetrated in his name.

Bottom line Mary.. We're not waging war to force Arabs to give up Islam. We're waging war to confront and defeat those fanatical and militant elements who believe that the use of force to purvey their religious beliefs is justifiable. We're fighting to free the Arab and Muslim people to have THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE how they wish to practice their spiritual faiths and live their lives.

Religious battles and confrontations must remain philosophical and spiritual. No one should ever have the right to use violence to force others to adher to a particular religious faith or creed. And where people attempt to twist religous faith (given its tremendous power to motivate the human soul) by incorporating violence as one of its tenets, the rest of humanity must be willing and ready to confront it.
