One uninformed question, if I may? Are american toasters compatible with the electric power grid in New Zealand? If not, you may want to negotiate with hedgefund for a Kiwi version. :-)

Mq, with no more shopping days until 2007 and no more share trading days either, we are rapidly closing on the closing price for 2006 and wonder of wonders, it's at $38.28 which is very close to $38.42.

Maybe you should buy a couple of million shares to push it up to the mark, right at the close.

Short Nokia and use the proceeds to buy QCOM. It would be a self-funding toaster acquisition [albeit wrong voltage and useless plug]. But the America's Cup isn't actually any use either and people spend a LOT more than that to win it and don't even have anything to show for it afterwards. You'd have a great investment and large profits when Nokia capitulates.

Edit...hmmm, my delayed quotes suggest we might already be there. Go QCOM Go~~!!! Now $38.35

It's going to gap up to $38.79 at the start of trading in 2007 so anyone buying at $38.42 is going to get a bargain. $38.79 will be the low for the year. Check out the high and end of 2007. Message 23130336

Since I'm the only entrant for The 2007 Toaster Invitational it looks like another victory is on the cards.
