I hit a patch of ice and dislocated my knee. My husband was able to get some snow around the knee until the ski patrol arrived. It really didn't hurt that much, it just looked weired all contorted the way it was. Anyway, one group was bringing this poor woman down the trail and her head was bouncing up and down on the side of the sled. If she didn't have a concussion before, she had one when she arrived. I mentioned that to the ski patrol, they looked at me like I was nuts. I said I'd rather find my own way down the slopes, they started snickering, I shot them the bird and proceeded to slide down on my butt. My husband shook his head and kept his mouth shut. The doctor said I would need surgery to repair the damage. I asked about the woman they brought in. She had a broken arm and a concussion. I told the doctor what happened. Those idiots from the ski patrol walked in about that time and I can tell you, they weren't laughing much after that.
