Top military brass professing there devotion to jesus christ while in the pentagon and while in uniform is a hostile act against the seperation of church and state.

No it isn't.

It is actually unconstitutional for the federal govenrment to endorse a religion.

Its unconstitutional for the federal government to establish a religion. Generally that would mean to make it the official religion, and to fund its religious activities with tax dollars. Arguably an official formal government endorsement might be considered establishment. A personal profession of faith by a government or military leader does not.

Are you Christain or an Evangelical Christain?

My religious beliefs aren't the issue, and really shouldn't matter to the discussion. Any arguments based on them would be ad-hominem. But if you must know I'm Christian, but not I don't consider myself Evangelical, and religion doesn't play a big part in my life right now.

As for off topic discussion, well I suppose Hawkmoon could weigh in on whether he thinks its ok. Or anyone who's annoyed by it could post or PM expressing their annoyance.
