Another reason to own a Mac. Yet the stock is down again today despite a strong market. the stock should also have gotten a boost on Amazon reporting strong sales of Apple products today.
Yet the stock continues trending down, as it did earlier this year. Cramer explained this as a bear raid on a stock that doesn't pay dividends and is closed mouth about new products.
Now his explanation is that it is another bear raid by poor performing hedge funds seeking to boost their performance at the end of the year by rumor-mongering and short-selling key stocks in a thin market.Even though shorting winning stocks might seem like a losing strategy, it works for year-end performance stats, or so says C. Is there a plausible alternative explanation(please don't claim simple profit-taking as the decline is too sharp for this).
some people don't like these conspiratorial market-manipulation explanations because it means we do not have the great american free enterprise market-knows-all capital market. As for me, I rejected all sorts of fairy tales before puberty. jmo.
