I really hope they get a good instructor and they have fun. Colo is absolutely beautiful in the winter.......heck, it's beautiful in the summer too. The problem with learning to ski at their age is that people don't like the falling, and it's hard to gain confidence. In other words........people give up too soon and miss all the fun. They have to be willing to fall and then get right back up and try again. If they do that they will be having some real fun after the first day. Getting on and off the chair lift is rather intimidating too. If you talk to them tell them not, not, not to give up. This is an early morn pic from the web cam where I ski. I'm going up tomorrow.....it's supposed to be sunny all day.
