Well....the powder was deep and that helped. Most of my crash was a face plant and it HURT bad! But I picked myself up - threw what gear I still had on in the trash can and went into the lodge and got blasted to ease the pain. Even the bartender saw it so he served me several free drinks. Most of my gear was left on the hill. The locals watched me crash the whole way and they asked if I was hurt....between laughter of course. The locals that are ski bums are really cool and fun people. I still have some great friends out there that I met. I love Jackson Hole and the whole area. It rocks!
