While you try to figure out what exactly is your point, perhaps you should think of why you don't know any of the 35 million Americans allegedly going hungry each year. I don't know any. Considering that number is > 10% of the US population they are hiding pretty well. Huh? By your own admission, you've lived off shore for over six years. How many of these Americans do you think holiday in Dubai or any of the other hotspots you've visited in the past few years? I've seen hungary people in Seattle and I saw many more in LA. Of course, you won't find them in Beverly Hills or at the Dubai Swim Club.
