Like you, I am hedged, long (overseas and China, dividend paying energy with 8 to 10% yields), currencies, shorts (real estate funds, small cap funds), gold, cash - some bonds (munis) w/tax yield near 8%. Trading around the core.

some long and some short : net yield ~5% or less(hussman conundrum)..
why work hard, just use MM funds/Treasuries.
