Although S.H. was certainly a murderous Dictator, prior to his overthrow Iraq was perhaps the most 'secular' of Arab nations. Radical Islamicists were tossed in prison or killed. They did not use Sharia courts --- like they do in Basra now....) Of course things are quite different now, with both main sides of the Iraqi civil war, the Sunni and the Shia, employing and enabling radical fundamentalists to fight on their side in the war....

Re: "Lost Boys of Sudan." Wonder just who you think has been President low these last six years (as the Sudan ethnic cleansing / civil war has happened)? And just who has been in control of Congress over that same period? Must be the 'Leftists' in the U.S., right? :-)
