I love rare, husband loves med. rare. This may be worth trying :)

Cook his to rare. Take off grill and tent under tin foil.

Add your steak to the grill. Once yours is done, his should be just right.

Yes......giggle, giggle, giggle...........you bring the steak inside, have a few sips of a good red wine while you are setting the table and it should be done by then. It has only taken me 30 yrs to figure out how to grill the perfect steak. In the mean time, I've ruined allot of good beef. Hubby has ruined even more.

One thing you need to realize is that we all over cook steak and we all over cook seafood. Follow your instincts and get the poor thing off the heat even if you don't think it's done.
