Its almost nothing like a mixed doubles tennis match. Your partner in a mixed doubles match is on your side, even if the partners snipe at each other about mistakes. The Islamofascists are the opponent. In the context of the analogy they would be the other set of mixed doubles that you want to beat. And then of course the game would have to be a lot more dangerous to lose.

The man usually blames the woman for making mistakes and suggest all kinds of ways to improve the game. The reality is, if he concentrate on his own game and make less mistakes, they would be better off. Mary.. stick to Jihadist tourism.. You have almost ABSOLUTELY NO CONCEPTION of how human interaction works at its primal foundation. It's about power and control, either by sheer brute force and willpower. Look at the Mid-East Mary... Look at its hundreds of years of history and understand why there are no democratic values that have taken root there to the extent they have in the West. Just a mere 80 years ago, these people had nothing. They lived by their wits, eaking out a meager living as farmers or fishermen. And when they weren't doing that, they were kidnapping and stealing from one another. Their idea of resolving differences revolved around tribal elders attempting to cool the hotheads down, and making reparations (or ransoms). And when that didn't work, the tribes engaged in open conflict with a Winner Take All result. That's the REAL WORLD Mary.. It isn't some kind of non-zero sum game between tennis partners. It's about local, regional, or global domination of populations and wealth. The Muslim world, prior to the discovery of oil and presence of western values and ideas, was 1000 years behind the West in economic and political ideas. You seem to think that the Jihadists will just go away of their own accord, and that's simply not true. If people take no actions to confront and oppose them with equal, or even greater, violence, but rather adopt a pacifistic indifference, they will be slaughtered. Slaughtered Mary.. like a herd of cattle from which you enjoy your steak and hamburger. We saw this with the Kurds and Shi'a Arabs by Saddam's brutal regime. Had they not acted to defend themselves, he would have eliminated them all and created "lebensraum" for his Sunni tribal allies. After all, 80% of all of Iraq's oil was in the Shi'a portions of Iraq. Look at Darfur Mary.. Once again.. it's about oil and the sudden wealth to be obtained by those who control it. And the militant fundamentalist Muslims who rule Sudan, lacking any concept of how to create a modern economy devoid of exploitation of natural resources, need this wealth to sustain their grasp on power. And there is genocide being committed there in order to eliminate any local population that might lay a claim to that oil. Let me repeat that.. Militant Islam is an economic parasite. They can't create their own wealth, or properly manage an economy in a manner that creates excess wealth that can create tax revenue, so they have to conquer. They have to seize someone else's wealth to sustain and expand their power. And that's a powerful motivator for inflicting a wave of brutality and violence. If they can't produce that wealth themselves, in the manner of Japan, or the US, they will take it. Thus, you dreadfully underestimate the nature of Islamo-Fascism. It's a parasitic ideology that MUST.. I repeat, MUST conquer in order to survive and expand. It's certainly not some kind of game of doubles tennis.. Geezus Weeps. Similarly. We agree Jihadists are bad people. They have no standing in this world. Wrong.. they will CREATE that standing by sheer brute force and intimidation, unless opposed. Just as our own nation will cease to exist if we're unwilling to fight and die for our own values. Be a pacifist if that's what you want.. But stop trying to convince us that the world would become some kind of Utopia all by itself. Progress only comes from dominating those forces who, due to selfish and parochial interests, oppose it.
