I stopped using oscillators a few years ago. I've done the Williams %R, Stochastics, ROC.. the whole ball of wax .. they all lag the more genuine signals given by price and volume imo On occasion I may seize upon a 12/26/9 MACD histogram crossover just becuz so many other technical traders seem to do so. but, for the most part, I think oscillators are cause for confusion and ambiguity I do however feel that ADX (absent the +/- DMI) has greater legitimacy, tho I suppose if you think about the math behind it, it's not really an oscillator Having said all that, I like the look of your ETGMF, and have added it to a watchlist Thanks.
