Hi John!

I think both CS and SPM have been active drilling for a while so we could get drill results any day from them. UC had only completed a couple of holes by December so we may get some news by the end of January, but I also heard they want to release the news in a batch so they may not be reporting anything for a while. And I think IPT has some drill data from holes they did in the fall, but they are still trying to close an acquisition of a small parcel of land in the middle of their holdings so they want to get that done before they post any news.

I checked out JNY a while back but the float is so tight that the stock just ran away before I got any. Haven't looked at it recently. Thanks for the info.

Cheers!

PS: I wish I had bought more of that SBB below a buck. I am still trying to remember why I only grabbed a small chunk...

Hi John!

<Have you taken a look at JNY? Their market cap is less than 10 million and their Mexico property "Vianey hosts a non 43-101 compliant historical resource of 345,020 metric tonnes in all categories, grading 2.13% lead, 3.66% zinc and 269 grams of silver per tonne." >

I had a few minutes this evening to have another look at JNY. The results they posted are certainly exceptional grade, but they are selective chip samples. The problem is that it is very easy to select high grade chip samples from visible ore shoots underground, and then on a per tonne basis they appear to be phenomenal grade ore material, however the problem is that this is not very often representative of the true mineralization of a deposit.

However, I know Peter Hawley who wrote the NI43-101 technical report, and I also know Rod Blakestead, their consulting geologist. I am going to try and phone them this week, and if they are in Vancouver for the Cambridge Show I will try to meet with them, and see what they have to say about that project. The biggest problem that I can state off the bat is that it is located in Guerrero State, which is the southern end of the Sierra Madre mineral belt, and the politics of the region are a bit sketchy. There are numerous groups of armed drug smugglers and they tend to shoot people they do not want around, including geologists, so it is a little riskier to do business in that state than other parts of Mexico.

I will follow up with more info later if I learn more.

cheers!
