I believe, Sir, that you may be OVER-estimating both the power of this President's ability to 'jawbone' large multi-nationals into taking major actions that they perceive to be uneconomic... and (perhaps) you over-estimate his will to squeeze those who 'brung him to the dance'.

(We didn't see him leaning on FERC to enforce the law and stop Enron-style gaming of the power markets, nor leaning on Detroit over fuel efficiency, nor any pressure on Oil interests in other areas... so why would you expect any now?)
