Kerry has put himself in a strong position by not running. It may be that he has the power to pick the nominee. Kerry has enormous assets to put behind any candidate. It may also be that Gore enters the race and does what Kerry wanted to do, defeat the GOP in a landslide. Who knows, we may even have Gore-Kerry. Hillary may be able to win, but it would be a close election. Gore could beat anyone in the GOP by 10%. And he deserves to. He was cheated out of the White House in pretty obvious fashion.
