If you can put off surgery for a while, I think it's good because they are making strides in surgical procedures all the time. When I had my accident, they had to make a rather large incision to repair the damage. I was in hospital for a week. Today, they would make four small incisions, do the surgery orthoscopicly and I'd be out and in PT the next day.
