Prosecuting in congress means spearheading investigations. The Kerry committee in congress was largely responsible for exposing and taking down the Iran-Contra crooks, BCCI Bank, the Medellin Cartel and Noriega. Sure he had help. Other agencies aided him and vice versa. But the only reason GHW Bush invaded Panama was because Kerry and friends had proven Noriega a drug-runner long ago. And BTW, the invasion had nothing to do with drugs, it was for other reasons. The whole Reagan-Bush Contra War gang was filled with drug-runners and gun-runners. Drugs and guns and vice versa up and down and all around. Including weapons to our enemies in Iran, thanks to your Fox news hero Ollie North. Kerry was also a Massachusetts prosecutor and took down a major Irish mob figure. In all these cases Kerry risked his life to pursue justice against powerful and very dangerous criminal special interests.
