a couple of times I went the wrong way around

What always trips me up is the reversed turn signal/wiper thing. I always rent a stick shift car in NZ because I like banging gears with my left hand for a change of pace, however habit takes over at an intersection and more often than not, the wipers go on instead of the turn signal lights. :-)
