The fact is that the social programs in Europe are much more developed and have interestingly enough resulted in greater upward mobility than the U.S...

Fact? What % of income received by Europeans is used to pay for the welfare state? There is only one way to define "upward mobility". How much do you have left to spend after everybody else takes out their good times money. You have no clue about what I'm talking about, and the reason for this is due to the FACT that you have don't know to what extent you've been swallowed by the ever growing socialist state around you.

In any event why don't you define the chart variables given by the clowns you quote?

However, I am not surprised that YOU don't like the message the charts and my post convey.

You like it because you think it's paying you off. Your post conveys nothing and fails to do the absolute minimum required for you to communicate: define your terms. If we can't understand what you think is so good, why do you think it is any good?

Your ideology consistently trumps reality.

Oh, it's about me, is it? How about defending the clowns who wrote the paper? You do that by addressing my criticism, by defining the terms of your and their argument.

However, the facts are quite well supported by other studies.

Are you telling me that you aren't able to make the argument yourself? Then why should we believe you? Because you quote authority?

Conclusion

Social mobility and equality of opportunity have once again become issues of political and social concern in the recent past. Our research has highlighted the decline in intergenerational income mobility..."

Oh geeze. How can you read this stuff?

The question you should be asking is why the state pays these guys to write this tripe. Because they're professors? More like, professors of word crafting designed to meet the publish criteria of professorship. Haven't you figured out they're bullshit artists? And not very good at it either?

And here from a Wall Street Journal article:

"As rich-poor gap widens in U.S., class mobility stalls",
First in a Series
of pure bullshit articles read by imbeciles who have been entitled to live off the wealth of the country without contributing anything to future wealth. Better read, "Why the Soviet Union Failed".

What this and the WSJ article(s) are actually saying is the wealth of the country MUST be taken away until the crap generators have been eliminated. That's the way life works and neither you nor these little boys being supported by someone else can do a thing about it. Indeed, the effort by these socialists to close the "mobility gap" guarantees the gap will widen. Grace told you that but your ears are too plugged to hear it.

You never did take on my claim that they don't define their chart variables. That's a straight forward academic task. So why are you running away from it?
