All the time we hear about the Saudi government needing its oil profits to support a vast mass of government employees etc. If they cut their price in half, would they have enough money for their own needs? We can be sure that EVERYBODY would want to buy the $30 oil. So they will supply the whole world? It certainly doesn't look feasible.

The 'Threadland Security Act' specifically mentioned: Israel and Palestinians as a 'cause'. Religion as an specific theme of discussion for which many other Forum exist in SI.

The Sunnis and Shiites issue can be discussed for us to have an understanding of the underlying issues that may guide an outcome of the US-Iraq-Iran and now Saudis involved due to their falavor of Islamism differ from the Shiites.

The Saudis as well as the whole GCC do not want a strong Iran which is not a credible partner for them due to the religion preferences of their populaces.
