Yes, that is what I asked (Would you separate out the period when separatist rebels were actively warring against the central Sudanese government (before they lost...) from the later period when the Sudanese Islamicists fired up their ethnic cleansing campaign in Darfur... (or do you consider them one and the same)? ), and, to my knowledge, you haven't answered it yet. As to the rest... I'm simply suggesting that we discuss ONE SUBJECT at a time. Of course you are totally free to change subjects anytime you wish to... but it's rather difficult to know what to try responding to when you toss a 'baker's dozen' different issues up in one post. Happy to talk --- but it helps to know what you think you are talking about.
