"Pakistan has so many factions, and many of them definitely NOT allies of ours, that it is difficult to totally support, or to damn the entire country. I just wish we didn't have to work with them. In any way." You would think there should be some RESPONSIBILITY, some ACCOUNTABILITY for actions. (After 9-11, for example, we could have continued our military attacks against those who were directly responsible for the attack on the US... instead of letting them escape to 'safe sanctuary', in the Airlift of Evil, or into the Tribal Regions of Pakistan where the Taliban leadership --- and most likely al Qaeda leadership, too --- is provided safety even today from US action. And, the General in charge of Pakistan's ISI [their CIA, agency responsible for the Taliban] who wired $100,000 to Mohammed Atta the week before the 9-11 attacks... and who was peacefully having lunch in Langley when the attacks happened, acting up a storm... is also 'hands-off' in Pakistan today. As is their 'national hero' who sold nuclear weapons technology to North Korea and to Iran and Lybia... living the life of a millionaire today, Pakistan preventing the US from even talking to the guy....)
