The russians ,however ,do have a valid(capitalistic) reason to make threats .
as with the ukrain last year.They have been supplying gas at a fraction of its market price to former members of the soviet union.
That the are makeing a strong attempt to pressure countries to turn sell them distribution net works is perhaps more disturbing.
Perhaps LNG will not be as cheap as hoped ...what with europe scrambling to secure alternative sorces.
