I can imagine they are experiencing the same type of growth we are down here. And I know what you mean about housing styles. The ones they are putting up around me....other than the st of dreams monsters........are certainly varied and unique. -gg- If you are going to be in this area, living with that incredible view of the Sound and Olympics, or in the mts of the Cascades with those great views has to be the finest kind of living. I don't know where I heard or read it, but somewhere I learned that we are expecting 2 mil more people to move to the greater PS region by 2012. Somehow, I don't think that is right, and maybe that stat was 2020??? All I know is they are working on rezoning us and my neighborhood will eventually end up much more crowded than it is now. And what with Brightwater only 3 miles down the road, sewers can't be far off for us. We are thinking the hwy 2 corridor is our best bet, and are going out this weekend to look at properties up near the Goldbar, Startup area. I know neither one of us want to be living in Woodinville when the growth is complete, and might as well get some acreage up there near our beloved skiing, hiking and fishing while we can. Not too close yet close enough to be able to see the kids and get to all of the great amenities of city hood within an hours drive. I looked at SP webcam just now and there are allot of people already there for this time of the morning. I think they will experience the same kind of crowds today. I opted to stay around here, spend some time with my sis, do some errands and return a few Christmas gifts instead of going up. I think that was a wise choice. I'll wait till next week when everyone is back to work and school. As for the suntan........more like burn. My face is very pink. P.S. I wonder how Ken is doing this am??
