?? Are you saying someone in India or New Zealand would rather receive their paycheck in US dollars? They wouldn't. Then they would have to just convert it to the local currency and pay the foreign exchange cost.

As for Sudan, no comment!

Kumar, with the NZ$ now at US70c, I'd take a NZ salary in US$ because with the huge debts and deficits in NZ we are heading for a fall. In 2007 I will be surprised to see over US60c and not surprised to see US50c and possibly US40c.

I wouldn't want to be holding $Kiwi now. But neither did I want to continue holding US$. Bought Tonka Truckload of GSAT = Globalstar Inc at $12.84 Unnerving to buy at market highs, but it looked like a good price.
