Wind Farms are fantastic, so long as they are not going to hurt property values or kill migratory birds. It's really a very simple issue.

The GOP governor of Massachusetts stopped it from happening, but many democrats agree. This is a non-issue, except that Exxon and rightwing pro-pollution lobby forces are trying to turn it into another phony "hypocrisy" issue, attacking "limousine liberals". When in fact most opponents of the wind farm are Republicans and Dems fully support wind farms in most cases.

Bill O'Reilly for one has blasted any rightwingers who use that phony "limousine liberal" excuse for supporting pollution and energy thieves. I totally agree with O'Reilly on that one. In fact it's almost impossible to travel without polluting and burning lots of gas, BECAUSE the Bushies have fought against efficiency standards, conservation and common sense advancement in this area, which by the way had the effect of clobbering the US auto industry and helping the Japanese immensely.

Once we get cars running cleaner and more efficiently the next thing to work on will be how to power jets with hydrogen, and make the hydrogen fuel from wind and solar. But we are not going to get there without a new environmentally friendly President. Kerry or Gore would be the best.

One of Bush's biggest lies was promising to be the "environmental president". He is quite simply bought and paid for by polluters and big oil. And that has a lot to do with the Iraq invasion too, if not almost everything. So, do you like our troops dying for Exxon and Halliburton? I don't.

Time to quit attacking environmental sanity and start attacking pollution pimps like Bush-cheney-Delay who after all are to blame the the lack of progress we've made on these crucial issues, as well as for all the outrageous energy gouging and the disasterous war in Iraq.
