One point the movie tried to make was the campaign in Cuba finally put to rest the animosity that existed between North and South. We became a united country again. The Rough Riders had a few Confederate veterans fighting alongside their former adversaries.

Similar to the number of people that were at Woodstock. I would guess there are roughly 5 times as many people that say they were there versus the actual number that attended:)
