Bush is now less popular than Saddam Hussein. Compare what sadam did to the Iraqi people to what has happened there since Bush-Cheney invaded without a plan. Who hurt Iraqis worse? And wouldn't we love to have a non-Islamic strongman in charge now who could cack heads and keep law and order? Even if he was corrupt and a jerk? Lesser of two evils perhaps.

So hanging Saddam isn't going to accomplish anything.

Also remember, Saddam was Reagan-Bush-Rummy's buddy until 1991. He was their guy. They armed him. They also illegally sent arms to Iran. Armed both sides.

Also Saddam is a Sunni, just like GW's pals in Saudi Arabia who now side with Saddam's people.

Bush admitted in 2001 before 9-11 that Saddam was in a box and was not a threat. Then in 2002 he started trumping his his campaign of lies and exaggerations to get us into that war. Some 4000 Americans have died as a result plus 20,000+ wounded, heading toward a trillion dollars wasted and the Middle East is in turmoil. Who hurt us worse, Bush or Saddam? Easy. Bush did. Much worse.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, they are so terrible over there, no telling what they have planned. I'm sure someone is planning on saving the SOB!

"This Saddam Hussein deathwatch is a unique way to celebrate the new year..."

It looks like Saddam won the race. Fidel will have to be content to follow him to Hell.
