Walter Cronkite is a great man. He sails a lot. That's his big passion. I know what he means. Offshore oil drilling platforms also spoil the natural view in many parts of the country. The ocean is not the right place to be building indsutrial platforms unless it's in a remote spot where no one minds and environmental damage is nil. We can easily put wind and solar farms in more appropriate places then ship the energy to places like Nantucket. They can afford it. It's important to keep special places like Nantucket Sound natural and beautiful. for the middleclass too. Not everyone there is rich like the Bushes and Kennedys.
