Well, many (most?) had no idea what to look for in dotcom companies either. I know this is still very early days. When the word gets around about the level of percent appreciations in U stocks over the last 6 months I wouldn't be surprised if a little mania develops. We might be seeing the first signs when an outfit like Jetcom jumps 40% in a day. But WTFDIK? To me this is like gambling - the only kind I indulge in, BTW.

As far as people not knowing what they are buying...I'd say that's pretty characteristic of a blow-off or mania phase. Whether it will occur to the extent that Mr. Dines envisions (or the lesser extent that Mr. Red envisions) remains to be seen. Lock in some profits along the way but stay with the dominant trend until it breaks...that's the plan, anyway...

"Many have no idea what to look for in Uranium stocks"

Exactly right. So in the public-mania phase they will do one thing................they will look for the word "uranium" in a stock's name.

It sounds like I'm kiddin', but you know in that phase, it's true.
