That sounds a bit rude, kumar. Since I'm not Muslim, and can only go by what I read and hear, and investigate....I found that there are several periods of time over a two DATE time frame, because of where the moon is .....

India and Iraq are in different time zones. From what you have said, and we have seen, that probably accounts for the differences for Muslims all over the world.

I have a client who is Muslim from Pakistan, her ex-husband is Farsi Muslim from Afghanistan, and it's not at all uncommon for their Eids to fall on different days.

The reason it's an issue is because in the custody agreement, each one gets the child for one of the Eids.
