Finding the current price is indeed a problem for stocks not listed on the US market. I just use the delayed price from Yahoo (or Stockhouse). If the price is moving fast you can fail to get a fill, or pay too much (on the buy side). I get the Yahoo price for the CA stock, convert it to US $, make the offer then adjust it upwards if I can't get filled. There must be a better way.

I use Ameritrade, also. Since 90%+ of stocks I buy are Canadian, I subscribe to Stockwatch for real time quotes and market depth. No, it's not free, but it's worth the expense if you buy mostly Canadians like I do.
