I think that would do it.

Since she was able to receive the picture, she should be able to e-mail it to herself at a web-based e-mail address, then save it to the computer and upload it to a photo sharing site.

Don't know why I didn't think of this last night. Doh!

I did that and then did a "save as" and I have the picture in my folders, but now I'm stumped.
