Olbermann is one of the truly great Americans.
And quite unlike rightwing TV hosts he has never lied.
He has never been found to have misrepresented anything.
He has never spun just to please a partisan audience.
And he started truth-telling about the Bushies before it
became fashionable. As a result he's helped make MSNBC
the best domestic news network, and has taken a huge chunk
out of Fox News's ratings. CNN remains the best international network.

Fox News have been found to have lied and misinformed on
many occasions about very major issues. We had a brief glimpse inside their partisan propaganda shop when after the democrats won congress, their editor put out an email order to go to Iraq and look for "terrorists celebrating". That is just plain dishonest and ugly.

If anyone has made terrorists more bold, secure, popular and well-funded it's GW Bush and Dick Cheney, with the help of Fox News. Fox also played a role in helping Bush steal the 2000 election, and promoted the smearvets lie campaign against Kerry. They don't have a single progressive host except Alan Colmes who must have been deliberately picked because of his lack of manly charisma.

Ted, > Think about it, Ten, he quit to get a job on MSNBC. He wanted to be more mainstream. Thnk about it......a sportscaster is a dead end job unless you're a total jock and not very bright. That's the sign of partisanship??? Damn! Talk about conspiracy theories!

Not a very convincing theory, since Olbermann could have just left ESPN without the drama.

Partisanship has been around longer than Bush. I know this, and I'm younger than you are.
