Vietnam and Iraq were both unwinnable because of the reasons I listed. We could kill half the people in those countries and still we wouldn't win because the more you kill the angrier they get at you. And it's their country not ours, so where are they going to go? They have no choice but to stand and fight us. Just like if the Chinese invaded the US they could never win either. We would fight them forever if that's how long it took.

We killed over two million human beings in Vietnam, most of them innocent. I guess that means nothing to a rightwing extremist like you though. You creeps love war for war's sake. Doesn't even have to be a reason for them. War-war-war, yet your own leaders rarely dare to serve themselves. They are fat cat profiteering cowards sending American heros to die in their sons' places. They are a real disgrace.

In 1964 we hadn't learned that lesson yet, but we sure as hell did by 1969 and we definitely should have by 2003. Kerry was absolutely right in 1971 and is absolutely right about Bush not heeding the lessons of history now.
