Saddam we knew was a liar and tyrant. Bush claimed to be the opposite, but then lied and and acted like a tyrant. Bush's lies and attempted tyranny would have been possible to swallow if he had actually done the country and the world any good, but he has done terrible damage to both. As a result, he is a liar and a failure, and that is too much for about 80% of the country and 95% of the world to stand. Bush would do us all a big favor if he helped get rid of Cheney, then stepped down and named a responsible, honest successor. But he is too arrogant to do this. Instead, he will continue to dishonor himself and our country.

Ford Said GOP Got Far Too Rightwing. He stated Bush Sr. is pro-choice and so is the Bush family. He also states Reagan cost him his election. So an honest conservative champion of the middle speaking out against the GOP rightwing from his grave, and he makes a lot of sense. msnbc.msn.com Very interesting interview. Ford of course also stated that he disagreed with Bush's decision to invade Iraq. If only the GOP still had leaders like Ford, think how much better off we'd be.
