What transcripts? What assumption are you talking about?

If you mean the assumption that Saddam never claimed the US sold him chemical weapons, then yes I am making that assumption. If he had, I assume it would have been big news and we all would have heard it. I don't know what transcripts you are talking about.


Saddam made some outrageous accusations including that he was framed by the US from the get go and that he didn't do half the things he was accused of doing. It hardly made a blip in the news here in the States. No one cared. In American minds, Saddam was guilty even before he determined who his attorney would be during the trial. In other words, Saddam's trial was a non news event.
