You will note I do not argue about his execution, or the reason for his execution, simply the animals who executed him.

I think you are overreacting to the fact that the people in the room killing him really, really hated him. And with good reason. Most of them had relatives who were tortured and killed by him. Made it personal. They would like to have torn him limb from limb.

You don't like the fact that it was not a better controlled environment. With Saddam's BG, I would like to seen it done in a massive Baghdad square with thousands cheering. Unfortunately, the crowd would have mobbed him.

A televised execution, done with more formality, would probably have been best. But that was too violent for our elites.
